I began my career journey in the world of journalism. I have been both a writer and editor for Outside Magazine, Origin Magazine, and Bend Magazine. In the early aughts, I sidestepped into the non-profit sector as the Founder and Director of World Muse, Muse Conference, and Muse Camp. I have spent the past two decades producing events, workshops, and cultural travel experiences for women and youth that inspire creativity and spark social change. I have also co-produced a series of award-winning documentary films that address Environmental, LGBTQIA+, and Mental Health Issues. I’ve had the honor of working and traveling with many incredible creatives and activists, including Gloria Steinem, Liz Gilbert, Tererai Trent, Seane Corn, Amy Richards, and Lynne Twist. Through the years, I’ve served as a faculty member for Off The Mat Into The World, Project Springboard, The Catalyst Collective, and Feminist Camp London.
“A Murder of Crows” will be my first novel.
